The Fuss (Des Moines, Iowa)
The Fuss is a 4-piece, Indie-guitar-pop group from Des Moines, Iowa (est. 2015). Combining guitar-centric elements of ‘60s garage-rock, poignant lyricism and buoyant vocal melodies, they’ve crafted an engaging and energetic live set with a sound that’s been described as “melodic power pop of the highest order**”. The Fuss has been dubbed “one of Des Moines’ best young bands***” by the Iowa State Daily and has been featured in compilations by local organizations such as the Des Moines Music Coalition, and the Iowa Music Project. **(Michael Roeder, 7/29/2017) ***(Finn Hoogensen, 9/21/2017)
Harakiri (Minneapolis, Minnesota)
twinkling psychedelic prog
Harakiri is a musically progressive psych rock band, with spacey guitars and persistent experimental vocal harmonies, often revered for their eclectic song style changes and unique embodiment of psychedelic and melancholy.
The Host Country (Des Moines, Iowa)
The Host Country is Ty Wistrand (guitar/vox), Diana Weishaar (keys/vox), Tom Rue (bass), Ethan Weishaar (drums), and Michael Lovan (guitar). We are an exploration of sounds; a fusion of folk, rock, blues, a mix of hard and soft.
